Kate Spiller, DVM

Kate Spiller, DVM

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Spiller grew up in Emporia, Kansas. In 1991, she began studies at Kansas State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and then attended the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from veterinary school in 1999, Dr. Spiller worked in Kansas City, Missouri for eight years at a small animal clinic and also an emergency hospital. Dr. Spiller then worked in Wichita, Kansas for twelve years at a companion animal clinic. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice but especially enjoys soft tissue surgery, feline pediatrics, and focuses on preventative care for pets. She and her husband share their home with 2 dogs, 4 cats, and one very sweet goat.

Veterinarian

Dr. Ahnen received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Oklahoma State University in 2000 and also received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2004. When Dr. Ahnen isn’t caring for animals, he enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include hiking, biking, camping, and traveling.

Veterinarian

Dr. Helen Hoerler grew up on a dairy farm in Stilwell, Oklahoma.  She received her bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Arkansas in 2010.  She then attended Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2014.  She enjoys focusing on fear-free pet exams, preventative care, and great client communication.  She lives on a farm with her husband and 2 rambunctious kids along with 1 dog, Wiley, several cats, goats, and cows.  In her spare time, she likes gardening, baking, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors with her family
